Our Activities
The Karnataka State College Librarians' Association (KSCLA) is a professional organization dedicated to the advancement of library science and the empowerment of college librarians across Karnataka. KSCLA plays a vital role in fostering academic growth, professional development, and research in the field of library and information sciences.
Our Activities & Initiatives:
Workshops: KSCLA conducts half-yearly two workshops, focusing on emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements in library and information sciences.
Annual Conference: An annual conference is organized to bring together experts, researchers, and professionals to discuss and share insights on the latest developments in the field.
Support for Ph.D. Awardees: The association recognizes and facilitates Ph.D. awardees in the domain of library and information sciences, who are life members of the association.
Recognition for Retired Librarians: KSCLA honors and provides continued support to retired college librarians who are life members of the association.
KSCLA is committed to enhancing the professional skills of librarians, fostering research, and promoting excellence in library services across Karnataka.
